Unlike so many of the "Coffin Ships" the "Jeanie Johnston" had a pristine record of carrying over 2,500 Irish emigrants from Ireland's shores during the cruel Famine Years. Here is a rendition of the the replica ship - The "Jeanie Johnston", built  in Ireland between 1993 and 2002.  She is portrayed here on a glorious day at sea under full sail!  For more information regarding the current "Jeanie Johnston" see:
