"Ancient Bridge at Holycross" County Tipperary "Holycross Abbey, near the town of Thurles in County Tipperary, is a glorious example of a 15th century Irish church. Containing a relic of the True Cross, Holycross has always been a very popular place of pilgrimage. As I studied the old bridge spanning the River Suir and reflected on how many pilgrims' feet had crossed over it through centuries past, I knew that I should paint it!" This is a large piece (30" x 40") that would fill up a wall, a lot of detail, and suitable in either a home or a corporate office! With its' bluish-gray 4" wide frame, this original rendered in oil on Belgian Linen, measures 38" x 48".
